Better yet, http://www.billsroom.com/pcfs/pricing.htm .

$60 should be able to buy you 4 of these; not just one.
This combo of very low cost parts is just not worth $60.

I looked yesterday when I read this thread. Cline pricing showed $60 and Iron Bay showed around $45.

The Iron Bay regulator works fantastic on the OS 1.60. You can order straight from their web site. I highly recommend it. My 160 was about to get traded!! 20-25 flights on a Decathalon and an equal number of dead-stick landings (one crash). Nothing worked. Now, fuel tank position, attitude and any other variable you can think of are non-issues. Also gives you a hugely wide needle valve adjustment with no tinkering after you set it.

Do they work if you don't have enough pressure from the tank?
From what I see, both regulate fuel (eliminate flooding) but does not pump fuel to the engine.

The short version is: they work kind of like a YS fuel system. Crankcase pressure tapped from your engine is used to pressurise the tank and the regulator does it's thing by reducing that pressure to a level that the carb can use perfectly.
