Any tank clubs exist in or east of Atlanta, GA? A couple of us in Augusta GA want to get into tank battles if there's a group close by.

Thanks

Mike

Merry Xmas,

I'm just a 74 yr old beginner who just bought a new taigen Tiger I.  I love it, and it works fine.  I have 2 questions.

1- can I reduce the speed?  The company that makes it put the wrong instruction book in the box.

2- how do I lower the sound?  The book listed noise reduction as a feature.

You can reduce the speed by installing 3:1 gearboxes, the volume control is the white rotary switch in hatch with power and smoker switches.

What do u suggest?  I would like something I could update while building.  I like the heavy models.  (More metal, and a slower motor. 3.1). Tanks don't fly like the one I have.

Thanks again for ur help.  If I'm annoying, let me know.

Hello,

I am looking for a club/group related to RC Tanks in the Martinsburg, WV area.  I am brand new and looking at buying a Heng Long or something... but would
love to find a club in my area.  Or even some other people just interested in maybe forming our own club.

I have tried to sort through this topic but with no luck.

Thanks

UPDATE:
I still have not found anyone in my area that is interested in RC tank warfare.  I will leave my email address if your in the Eastern Panhandle of WV drop me a email.
fcso215@hotmail.com

Thanks

ACE or NEAD are your local clubs. I have tried to contact ACE but nada. Also this is best place to keep checking on the up coming events.

We are a radio control tank modelling hobby group, building, running and playing laser-tag styled games between teams of
opposing tanks. As of current status we primarily play on Tamiya 1/16th scale tanks, but interests in other scales and formats, such as Heng Long IR, VS Tanks, are welcome. Our meets are monthly (where possible) and we play our infrared games at locations all over Singapore!

I was looking into getting into the hobby possibly with the Tamiya 1/16 tanks/Battle system. I currently do not own a tank but would be interested getting one if there was some people near by to battle with. As far as I know there is Zero clubs in Ohio and the closest play I seen was in Detroit "Detroit place looks Very Nice!" but it's about 3.5hrs from me and would be a bit to long of a drive to battle Bi-weekly or when ever they battle. So if your in the area and was also thinking about getting into the tank battling hobby let me know,Maybe we can get some people together and form a small club? So leave a reply,PM, Or shoot me a email ProfitOfDoom420@yahoo.com Thanks!

I've had some major medical issues over the past year and a half. But Daryl Turner and myself are meeting tomorrow night to hang out, have some great New Haven style pizza and go over what we need to do to get ACE going in a good direction. Hope to see some of you again soon.

We've also condensed our members to mainly the east coast, but all are welcome !
