Just signed up to RCuniverse. I have a problem with a Top Flite 182 Skyline. I have covered all the top and bottom surfaces of both the elevato and stab. However when lined up in place the stabilizer is thicker then the two separate elevators. I can sand down the stab only so much but it will not be enough to make a perfectly congruent airofoil. I have and still am trying to build with a high sense of detail and would like very much if everything was as close to perfect as possible.

My main concern here is if it will look odd once painted. I f i could do it all over i would use dowels temporarily in place of the robart hinges to connect the stan and elevator and then sand them together b4 fiberglassing and installing hinges.

Please if any one out there has any ideas share them.
