Status: offline 		I spoke with Mike at Graphtech today about CF gear for my 40% Carden Edge which is under construction. He said he has made gear for most of the 40% Cardens and will be likely making some later this week. I've had good luck with the Graphtech gear on my 35% planes so I went ahead and ordered a pair for my 40% Edge. I'll report back on how they turn out but I thought I'de mention it because I wasn't aware that Graphtech had gear for the 40% Cardens.

I have been flying my Carden 40% 260 for a couple of months now, and the Graph Tech carbon gear is working out really good for me.

Status: offline 		About half the weight of stock. I lightened my in addition by placing lightening holes across the horizontal beam.

Status: offline 		The price will be around $ 125.00. I can't tell you if it will be any better than the graphtech but what I can tell you is that it is made in a way that will make it harder to delaminate and it is baked in an oven for about ten hours making it harder to brake. This new gear is made by super gear and I currently have one in my 300.

Status: offline 		Graphtech lists the gears on their page for $119. I e-mailed them to see what the weight was. My 40% Edge needs a diet.. Any update on the Carden CF gear? Does anybody happen to know what the stock 40% Edge gear weighs?
