I swear i just answered a post exactly like this one. get the o.s. if you want complete reliability, or the 3.3 for more power than the .18 the 3.3 is a .20 engine. and you can do the lifetime engine replacement program through your LHS. for $130 or so.

If i were to buy the O.S. .18 check into the O.S. .18TZ Turbo more power than the regular TM

umm i don't know what rash revo is on about, the .18 tm is about as powerful as a 3.3, it's a better made engine then the 3.3, the .18 tz you need grind the cooling fins off of the block to get it to fit or buy an after market engine mount, and most tz's have a rotary carb so you need to convert the throttle linkage (if you get the good one anyway, there is the normal .18 TZ and there is the .18 tz EB mod), the .18 TM is an excellent engine, i, just like most other people out there recommend it as a good reliable engine with enough power, particularly if your upgrading from a TRX 2.5.

yea go back and read the O.S. .18TM thread. I realized that but the TZ-Turbo still has more power than a stock TM.

O.S. 18TM~~

SPECS: Displacement: 0.183 cu in (3.0cc)
Bore: 0.629" (16.0mm)
Stroke: 0.590" (15.0mm)
Practical RPM: 3,000-34,000
Output: 1.6 ps @ 29,000 RPM
Weight: 8.22 oz (233g)

O.S. .18TZ-TURBO~~

SPECS: Displacement: 0.183 cu in (3.0cc)
Bore: 0.629" (16.0mm)
Stroke: 0.590" (15.0mm)
Practical RPM: 3,000-34,000
Output: 1.8ps @ 29,000 RPM
Weight: 9.3oz (264g)

this is only a .18 engine the TRX 3.3 is a .20 A lot of people make the mistake of calling the 3.3 a .18 even the guy at my LHS thought it was a .18 this thing is making 60% more power than the 2.5R.... It's a healthy step up.
