Hi,

I am making a 3s2p pack and want to know if I can use a single tap at the two nodes and still use the Sonic charger.

I need to order some balancing connectors but I would like to physically make the pack as a 3s2p and not two 3s packs.

Would the charger balancing circuit still work? In effect, would I be trying to balance 3 pairs of cells and just treating each pair as a single cell?

Hello Dan,

You have the idea here. You can make a 3S2P pack and install the 3S balance connector. The paired parallel cells will act as one Single cell.
