which one? Theres a bunch. Lets see.
Paragon Aero, Jag engines, RS engines, um, and about 5 or 10 more. I am forgetting a couple of good ones. The info is there in the giant engine section, though. Do a search for ryobi, and you'll get hours of reading.

Nice plane. Can you go into a few more specifics on the wing. Did you use all 4mm or 2mm for the top panel? Did you happen to weigh the wing alone? One layer aileron or two?

Thanks,
John

John,
The wing is all 2mm coro. The wing is made from 2 40x28.5 inch pieces of 2mm coro . The flutes are running the 28 inch way. I scored a fold line so that the bottom half of the sheet would be 14 inchs long. I placed the spar at 25 % of the overall chord of 16inchs. One layer 4mm coro alierons 2 inchs wide are glued in between the top and bottom wing panels. Wing turned out just a hair over 3 lbs. Spar weighed 1 lbs 10 ounces. The wing is built just like any other spad wing with one spar. Its just blown up!

Thanks for the comment on my plane! I flew her today and what a blast I had. She flys very well inverted too with a flat bottom wing

Many times you see in reports on various planes, as well as just someone wanting to see they're opinions in print, that flat bottomed wings don't or won't fly inverted. That's just a bunch of hogwash. Even the Spadwalker, with a ton of dihedral, flys inverted very well. I've flown it so long inverted, that I ALMOST forgot I was inverted. That COULD have ended up a bit drastic- but didn't.- HA!

I finished my plane a few weeks ago , but finaly had a chance to fly it the last couple weekends. I am realy happy with it it flies almost like my 1/4 cub and I think I could build it in a long afternoon with about 20.00 w/o radio+engine. Spec-- 96"w/s 18" cd 1700sq, 16#,30cc Homey. Thanks for all the input. Steve
I'll try to send some pick next.
........ now how about a 96"x21" 2000sq profile????

Looks great. Nothing like flying something of your own design. I have flown mine a half dozen times and the wind has been blowing like crazy. Take off runs of 20ft and landings are even shorter. Keep up the good work.
