After reading the thread on aerobatic 1/2A planes I dug out the January 2001 issue of MAN to see Dave Robelen's lovely plan for the Mini-Kaos. The SR X250 resembles it closely with only a bit more wing area. As it is a well regarded kit has anyone done a wet-power conversion?

well, it's a funny thing, but the x-250 was kind of an electric version of the joystick! You can find plans for it, and someone here flys one; maybe they have plans? I had one once, got a pix of it somewhere. this is the one off the rcm plans site, but with a bubble canopy it looks just like it.

I built an X250 for electric-Graupner 400 geared, 9x5 electric prop, 21 ounces ready to fly. You should know that there is no diehedral and it's a flat bottomed airfoil (not symetrical). The kit is gorgeous! It has laser cut wood, carbon spar and leading edge and excellent wood. With the electric set-up the airplane would take off from the grass (I built mine with conventional gear) did great rolls, loops, vertical reversals and spins. Really nice kit.
