title says it all. I installed new blades, grips, upper, lower shaft, etc,etc.. I had to lengthen the servo push control rods on both sides. When i start the heli up it hovers pretty well and doesn't rotate etc.. minor trim adjustments to keep it steady, but when i pitch forward the chopper goes North East. it doesn't fly straight ahead but tilts sideways as it diagonally darts across the room. Could this be from a unbalanced lower swashplate? I had to lengthen the arms because the new lower shaft is a longer version. does anyone have any suggestions and ideas. blades are brand new, grips are new, everything is new and straight... everything runs vibration free and very smooth. the upper blades have very small tracking if any at all. its only a problem when i pitch forward, it goes the opposite direction south west when i pitch backwards...

I would double check your servo's and make sure they are all hooked up straight. If you had the two back servo's reversed, then it would probably do something really simular to that. That is the first thing that comes to mind. I guess check that out and if that's not it, I'm sure someone else can come up with something.

My Humming bird Pro did that.
I disconnected all the servos, turned on the TX then let the servos take a set when the gyro light came on.
I mounted all the servo arms horizontal then I just had to make some minor control linkage adjustments
When you do this make sure all the TX sliders are centered.

this could be eccpm coupling. by that i mean if the servos don't move the swash uniformly, then you can get unwanted responses (ie, one side of the swash is moving more than the other when pure forward input is applied).

given that you played with the servo links, i'd guess whirley bird has the right advice. following the correct setup procedure for the servo links is important: 1) the servos should be centered electrically first (power on, center trims & sticks), 2) then the servo arms should be mounted as level as possible, 3) then the trims are used to make the arms perfectly level, and 4) then the swash is set level via the links. it is also important to keep power on so the servo arms stay put while you work on the links. if you miss a step, or power down & accidentally move a servo horn, you will likely introduce eccpm coupling.

ok correct my steps if they are wrong please.

step 1 ) disconnect the plastic white servo arms completely from the servos??? so that the only thing sticking out is a small metal pin but no white arms are attached.

2) level the trims and power on the Tx

3) power on the CX2 and let the servo's reset to where they want to be.

4) re-attach the white plastic servo arms so that they are completely flat / hoorizontal to the gears / body (not skids)

5) connect the linkage control arms and make adjustments so that the swash plate is level

6) test?

is that the concept you are talking about? correct or modify any steps as you see fit.

How did you extend the servo linkage rods?
did you move the linkage to another hole in the servo horn?
or did you adjust the length with the linkage by turning the balljoint connector?

adjusted the link by unscrewing the screw threads to make them longer
