hmmm well the first thing you should take on consideration is... for what kit does your local hobbies shop sell parts for, the TC3 or te RS4 and then thing will be less difficult for you, to choose over either of them.

There both good kits but like nitro212 said check your LHS first. Hpi is more popular and at least the rs4 keeps getting updated. I'm kind of thinking that they are going to update the tc3 at some point this year simply because they came out with the tc5.

But either way check your LHS first

The TC3 is a great car but I am brand loyal so I would have to go with the HPI on this one. I currently own a RS4 SS and the new SS+ is nice. The new aluminum pipe is a great upgrade from the old composie plastic one. I also think the 18ss engine boasts a bit more power now. Hopefully someone will chime in and clear that one up. Im not too sure but I might have read that somewhere. (I could be wrong)

The HPI also has a bunch of upgrades. The one upgrade I would really like to see the kit come with is aluminum threaded shocks. Would make the price jusmp up a bit but definately a very useful upgrade in my opinion. It was one of the best upgrades I made with mine.

Good luck with your decision and let us know what you finally decide on!
