I need help with mixing:
rudder to ailerons, rudder to elevator. I have a 35% edge and I want to mix the coupling away for knife edge flight. I have wore the buttons out trying to figure it out on my own. I have the standard ailerons on 2 and 6, elevator on 3 and 8, rudder on 4. The plane flys great, I just can't fine tune it!

I have the tutorial and the manual. Neither are much help. They seem to be heli and glider friendly., Not for airplanes.
I have the Evo 12.
Help Please!

Jeff

You need to create two new mixes. Create one for the elevator and name it elev++ or something along those lines. Then create one for the ailerons with a similar name (ail++).

For the elevator mix, on line one, add elevator and make it asynchronous. On line two add rudder, the next column add mix1 and make it asynchronous also.

For the aileron mix, on line one add ailerons and make them synchronous and line two add rudder with the same settings as the elevator mix.

Go into the setup menu and assign Mix1 to a switch, whichever is not currently being used will work.

In the assignments, assign the two mixes to the elevator and aileron channels respectively.

In the mixes menu, add values to the columns. This will depend on your setup so all I can say is set the elevator and ailerons arbitrarily to 100% and the rudder to -50%. Work on the settings until you get the values you need.

If you need other features within the mixes (flaps, spoilers, etc...) add them during the creation of the mixes.

I would strongly suggest you ask this question in the forum I had a link to in the previous post.

Mike.
