Okay, if any of you older farts are planning on one of in fear of getting one, let me know, I had one today. It was interesting but overall, going to a dentist is more aggravating. Shoot I also had the upper GI but the drugs and sedation I had made it no big deal at all

Later, The Trollmaster

Try it without the drugs. If you still think NBD, then I'm worried.........the stuff they stick in your I.V. to get you through those tests, well, you wouldn't care if they nailed you to the floor with railroad spikes.

Getting old is not for sissies! Nor is it an option that you can chose not to participate in. Sorry about that.

agreed, the procedure may not be that bad, but you have to take into account the prep; drinking whatever type flushing medicine your doctor decides will taste the nastiest to you, Spending the prior night in the bathroom, trying to give yourself enemas, going to the hospital super early in the morning only to fill out forms and wait for another few hours to get a bed. After that it's a blessing when they finally get to you and you get your happy medicine. Who cares what goes on in the procedure room.

What I hated is when they stuck a tube in from one end and then stuck a tube down my throat. I was too knocked out to make sure they weren't using the same tube. They promised that they used a fresh one but you never know what with cost savings and all.

Thats funny, I had asked about the tubes and saw both before I went out. The gallon jug taste much like salt water. First couple glasses arent bad but by the time you get to the last one, yeeeeuk!. By the way, I did such a great job on the first one, I have to do it again in a month. I wasn't "cleaned" out enough. Soooo now I have 2 gallon jugs to down over a weekend. mmmmmmmm

Actually, that was my last meal before the juice That' might be why I have to do it again. That "special sauce" did me in.

AH, HA! You didn't read the fine print . . . . . NOTHING RED! Is special sauce red. How long before the proceedure did they have you on the "special" sanaflush diet? I think I was on for a couple of days, still can't even stand to think of white grape juice. But al came out well (no pun intended) and I'm on parol for 5 years. Hell, by that time I'll be 82 and I'm sure something else will pop up that will make a Colonoscopy seem like fun.

Take care,

They have to sedate me for that, sedate me to remove my cataract, and sedate me for some shots in my back. I actually asked
