Hi,

After some time spent on getting familiar with what's on the market, as a beginner I'd like to buy ESky HoneyBee RC heli (fixed pitch - good enough for me).

But, I'm confused - the price varies from site to site. And there's many sites!

Also, shipping is something that's bothering me, I live in Zagreb Croatia and it costs a fortune to order from some sites.

Please, do you have any advice for me - where should I buy it to minimize the costs?

thanks!

www.raidentech.com is the cheapest to ship to the US, and the falcon 40, the walkera #4 (2006 and previous) and the honeybee FP are all pretty much the same heli, although the esky is probably a bit better quality. I don't know much about international shipping, but you could get on that site and see what you can find. Also there have been some people that have had troubles with orders through them, they do seem to be getting better on their CS though, and most orders go off without a hitch. Also there are two coupons I have, but you can only use one if you go through them.
promo code CJ10, which is 10% off and CJFREESHIPPING, which is free shipping $50 min order

oh yeah, and make sure to get some spare parts when you order to save on shipping. Sometimes they will hold up an order though waiting for parts if your order is not all there =/

Hold off for another week and Jag hobbies will have another batch in for $149.99 + shipping.
Helidirect has just about every part needed for both the early version and the VER # 2 HBK.

Thanks!

Actually the main problem for me is that when ordering from the US, shipping price to my country gets really high - almost as much as for the heli.
That's why I'm looking to find some shop closer here in the Europe, but so far no success...

Finally, I've made some decision and ordered my Esky HoneyBee from BuzzFlyer ...

Now I'm waiting for it to be shipped and to try it!

Meanwhile, I'm searching the Forum to find some interesting post regarding that Esky HB... Anything that can be of interest regarding flying, stability, durability.. etc.

Please, if someone that has experience with Esky HB can give me opinion...

Am I too optimistic when I think that this is a good heli for a newbie like me (thus resistant to various type of crashes, possible to be hovered good after some practise...)?
