My Nosram Tomahawk instructions say it is "essential" to solder capacitors that came with ESC to installed motor which I am wondering if I need to do as both the 19t & 27t motors have the highlighted in the attached image are these capacitors or not?

Thanks in advance fellow r/c fans!

yes,

those ARE already installed and you shouldn't have to solder any additional one's on. A few of the companies these days are putting them on in advance. Just be weary of one's like Trinity's that are INTERNAL and don't require external one's either. Usually should have info with the motor or check with the mfg site for info. Towerhobbie's another good source, find your motor and check the tech tips and see if soldering the capacitors on is a requirement.

hope this helps

The instructions say that "diodes" are never to be used on a fwd/rev esc! (my nosram tomahawk). However on my Nosram International which went up in smoke (fwd&brake esc) said diodes improve efficiency between esc & motor.

Also does anyone have an idea of the top speed (mph) of my RS4 pro 3 with Yokomo Pro Stock 2 19 turn motor (only a cheap £14.99 motor). And how much faster can it go with a better motor?
