have it been crashed? check all shafts. and bearings. check the head for any slop.

i too had the same problem. but after i swapped out blades the vibe went away.

Status: offline 		i went to an empty parking lot today with the mini titan. there was a storm approaching as usuall this time in orlando florida. had lots of gust and 15+ mph winds. that didnt stop me from flying however . i didnt dare to do any flips or rolls in this much wind. just flew taking it easy and enjoying it.
at the 3 minute mark i flew close to the camera for a flyby. awesome!

Status: offline 		redbaron- please don't take this wrong, but saying that it is in idle-up doesn't mean a lot. If you were talking about a RTF King 2 we'd know what you were talking about, but the MiniT is a bit of a step up, and you can program idle-up a lot of different ways.

Please post the following so we can think about it:
- motor brand and model
- pinion you're using
- ESC model and what you've set
- transmitter type, and throttle and pitch curves
- battery brand and model

The symptoms you're describing are a little complicated to sort out, so the above information will make it clearer. I may not be the guy with the answer, but that info may strike a chord with one of us.

Status: offline 		had a major crash today with mini titan. main gear, rotor head, skids, feathering shaft, main shaft, tail fin, bottom base. . about 130 bucks worth of damage. crashed coming out of a roll. i did way too low and hit the ground coming out. to be honest it wasnt flying that great. the cost of repairs is about the cost of a new kit. . i dont think i'm going to repair it. gonna get a new bird instead. all electronics survived the crash. . after all the different helis i have flown in these short months the EXI 450 at 99 bucks is by far the easiest and smoothest heli i have flown. flips and rolls are crisp and clean. i will either get the all metal version of exi 450 or the trex 500. i would like the trex 500 but the electronics requirement for that heli is really steep. since i can get a trex clone setup in 3 hours i'm gonna strip the titan and transfer eletronics into the exi.

You're running me out of ideas here . I'd still be looking for something sticking or loose in the head, though, starting with the dampers (o-rings) and making sure the bearings in the grips are in the right order/orientation.

Oh, my, important bit of info there . When you're putting things back together, disengage the motor from the spur gear so the head/main/tail turn freely. While you're gently turning the shaft, move the cyclic through all directions and make sure it isn't binding up. With the stock head, it's easy to put too much cyclic travel in it, and in extremis, you can impact the grips with the linkages and tear up servo gears.

Status: offline 		I still have not fixed my tracking problem and it's still bad enough to keep it grounded, i have inspected everything and i have found that there is a good amount of slope in the stock swashplate i wonder if this is my problem, i have also been told i need to glue my outter bearing races in the main shaft becuz the whole bearing as been know to spin and wear the plastic which creates even more slope and a vibration which i also have.

I think i may just glue my main bearings and upgrade to the assembled cnc head for $104

Sorry there's still a problem there. The swash is always going to have some play in it, but unless it's really excessive it shouldn't cause a tracking problem. If the bearings are loose enough to cause that, you should be able to tell by wiggling them- if they're flopping around from wear, then that would definitely be a problem.

Nice find on the head. Wonder how it compares to the Kasama head? They have some nice CNC stuff if it all fits without modification.

SERVOS :

1. Futaba Digital Rudder Servo S3153
2. Maxwell MX65 Metal Gear Digital Rudder Servo

GYRO :

1.Futaba GY240 Head Lock Gyro
2.Gaui Gyro GU210

2 Combos witch 1 is the best ?
1.Gaui Gyro GU210 , Maxwell MX65 Metal Gear Digital Rudder Servo
2.Futaba GY240 Head Lock Gyro , Futaba Digital Rudder Servo S3153

Status: offline 		I don't think I ever tried a 3153 on the tail (used a 9257)- I have them on the swash, though, and they're very sturdy and precise for that, very good stuff. It'd probably work fine on the tail.

If you're looking at a Futaba gyro, I'd suggest kicking in the extra and getting the 401; the remote gain control is extremely useful.

Status: offline 		Well I just joined the MT club... Hope I made a good choice. Seems to be a lot of people that like it. What's this I hear about having to glue bearings?? that part makes me wonder about my choice in birds as I hate to have to modify something that shouldnt need to be.

Thats good to hear... I hate to have to mod stuff that I realy shouldnt have to. I'm sure I'll love the heli also, it will be a big step up from my Axe CPv3.

Depends on what you're after. I don't like flat plate carbon frames, and I pick my own blades. It looks like a very nice heli, but it wouldn't be for me.

Status: offline 		Os. if you like the mini titan i think you would like this. feels extremely solid. it shares the same feathering shaft, main shaft, flybar, dampners, etc...with the mini titan. the main gear is compatible with trex 450. boom and all tail parts are compatible with mini titan. only thing difference is the frame. design is different. its more narrow. i'm very pleased with it.
