I came across this filter at the local small engine repair shop. It is 2 3/4"long 2 3/4" wide and about 1 1/2" deep. It is blocked off on one end and the other is a 3/4" opening. It is a tight fit over a piece of 3/4" copper pipe.
It is made by Tecumseh and the part # is 36905. Here is some pictures of it on my test stand for my ZDZ-60. I did a tach reading without the filter and there was no loss of rpm with it on.
I fly off of grass and this will work great on keeping the Junk out.

Hey Radman, is that a bottle of nitrous oxide under the table there? Trying to squeeze out every last bit of power are we. I'm new to gas engines. Is dirt an issue with them flying off of grass?

When you start playing with the bigger engines you need a air starter for that extra kick!!! Gotta love starting somthing that has kinsu knives for prop blades!! hahahaha

It is actually my mig welding bench. It is on wheels so i can roll it outside. I just take out the mig and argon and it makes a great break in stand.
As for the air filter, it is just my own preference. The way i fly i seem to run into the tall grass a lot. hehehe
