Bill ... the problem with the world today is people don't share, now we have YouTube so it makes sharing videos around the world much easier!

And I'm sure when he is more comfortable with the plane and his set-up, he'll report back to everyone... maybe even video if he has a friend there with him

Ok, I maidened mine today one flight after the contest was over. I had the throw's set up too high (which I knew) so the surfaces were touchy, which I don't like. I fly a soft stick normally. I didn't do a whole lot, and it's unfair to say how it flew as I had a temporary servo mount that I put in there break on an aileron. I did do a few things, but won't comment yet. Seems ok so far though. I'll report back with flights this week if work is slow. Maybe I'll fly it at the next contest in two weeks and get a video. I have to set it up, as Jason said, before I really want to comment much, or make a video. But soon.

Chris

Chris ... guess you are correct, sometimes we are so hasty to get a plane up and we do not really take it through its paces for a while to really know how it flies/performs. Hopeto hear from you again on what you think.

I will find out some info this week. And I will be honest. I appreciate your patience. I was anxiously trying to get it ready to fly, and it probably could have used another couple of days worth of looking at it to make sure it was good to go, but I decided to test it today as there was some interest in seeing it fly. I'll have some data by the weekend for sure.
It will do a knife edge loop with my low rate setting (which was too high for me for regular flight).. Not sure why I did one on the maiden, but someone mentioned it so I figured I'd try it.. Was quite the pucker factor coming down the backside wondering if there was enough rudder.. And wondering if I remembered to put all the servo screw's in, and so forth.. lol. Probably not the best scoring loop.. lol

I'll get you some data soon. It's what I am working towards.

Chris

Oh,...your on uncle JAS,...except I want it in Blue Ray buddy!

I hope to have some video before then guys,...However,....I do have video of the 1995 thru 2001 of the "old" Masters World Aerobatic Championships of uncle JAS that I filmed flying the 260 and the Cap,..a true inspiration in deed,.. with all sincerety! I would be honored if you filmed me flying,....but I think the roles are reversed here?

I'll bring the toy hauler and a steak dinner with extras and we can watch the video and re-visit yestarday,...would be kewl to hang with you again!

hey guys, is it snowing already up there? No more flying? Just kidding!! I was just wondering if there are some more flight updates!
I did read some more on the electric forum, and also some very nice pictures.

It made me longing for my Fliton Infinity!! Am I mistaken, or do they look alike? I fly the Inspire-90 now, but still have the ugly suspicion the Infinity was a better flying plane! To me this plane was a very sweet flying plane, with no mistakes (at least that I could discover at that time......).

Here an Infinity picture for comparison!

It looks that only I'm been hit by Fliton Store.
I put an order in july 28 for one element. They promised me by begining of september, now they don't answer the phone calls (888-473-0856), I talk to Alex and he said that he will help me, that fliton store is no longer in business.
Now alex don't aswer the calls.
How can I recover my element or my money?
Derek can you help me?

Alex is around. Not sure why he's not answering calls. Possibly he's out of the country? He was at the District Championship contest last weekend where he had a mid air.

I got my Element out and dry fitted her, seems nice except that the CF tube for the H stab is loose, the rear tube is loose but the front one fits nicely. The f/glass tubing on the V stab seems loose too, need to open the covering a little to see what happened in there. I am settling for the YS160, need the stick time for this baby, I need to learn to fly straight!

Wanna ask you guys something before I start building her, are CA hinges ok? Thanks!
