Fly man ... how about a flight report? How does she handle? What's your opinion? Are you smiling from ea to ear?

Bill ... the problem with the world today is people don't share, now we have YouTube so it makes sharing videos around the world much easier!

And I'm sure when he is more comfortable with the plane and his set-up, he'll report back to everyone... maybe even video if he has a friend there with him

Ok, I maidened mine today one flight after the contest was over. I had the throw's set up too high (which I knew) so the surfaces were touchy, which I don't like. I fly a soft stick normally. I didn't do a whole lot, and it's unfair to say how it flew as I had a temporary servo mount that I put in there break on an aileron. I did do a few things, but won't comment yet. Seems ok so far though. I'll report back with flights this week if work is slow. Maybe I'll fly it at the next contest in two weeks and get a video. I have to set it up, as Jason said, before I really want to comment much, or make a video. But soon.

Chris

Chris ... guess you are correct, sometimes we are so hasty to get a plane up and we do not really take it through its paces for a while to really know how it flies/performs. Hopeto hear from you again on what you think.

I will find out some info this week. And I will be honest. I appreciate your patience. I was anxiously trying to get it ready to fly, and it probably could have used another couple of days worth of looking at it to make sure it was good to go, but I decided to test it today as there was some interest in seeing it fly. I'll have some data by the weekend for sure.
It will do a knife edge loop with my low rate setting (which was too high for me for regular flight).. Not sure why I did one on the maiden, but someone mentioned it so I figured I'd try it.. Was quite the pucker factor coming down the backside wondering if there was enough rudder.. And wondering if I remembered to put all the servo screw's in, and so forth.. lol. Probably not the best scoring loop.. lol

I'll get you some data soon. It's what I am working towards.

Chris
