Status: offline 		Could be belt tension too tight also, or bearings binding in the tail pulley shaft case.

I installed an Align metal one in my HDX STK frame.

Well, it's hard to tell.
Looks like the shaft just snaps for no apperent reason, there were no binding of the tail rotor.

well, i'm tired of waiting for the dx6i. they keep backing up the release date. so, i guess i gotta pony up for the dx7. i know i'll be better off anyway, it's just that my budget is kinda tight the best price i can find is at the barnfloor,com. i can get the tx alone
for 189.00, and the 6200 rx for 65.00. not bad.
anyone know if the 6200 rx has the same problems that the 7000 has. i've read that some guys have been having lockout problems,
then it takes 3-4 seconds for it to reboot. that can be bad. . something to do with voltage dropping below a certain point, even for a split second because of servo draw, so the rx shuts off. then reboots after the voltage goes back up. i'm probaly not explaining it right, but i hope the 6200 doesn't share the same problem.

Status: offline 		Your explanation is right on! That's the reason I am staying away from the Spektrum systems - I have a 7CHP now, and when I finally upgrade, it'll be a Futaba T7C! Loosing the RX might not be so bad in a plank, but in a heli - SPLAT!
