Hi,

Here is a video I recorded from a recent F3A Contest in Cyprus. Here is Chip performing a demo with a QQ 102'' YAK, that was Chip's first flight on that particular plane.

Hi Reza,

I am glad you liked the video. I am really amazed how top flyers like Chip can "calibrate" their thumbs when they fly for the first time any type of model, with any type of setup etc. The setup of the QQ YAK was pretty good though.

There are plenty of "kids" nowdays performing great freestyle routines low enough etc. but do not have the flying disciplines and experience of great fliers such as QQ, Chip Hyde, CPLR, Seba, Jason Shulman etc. I was really amazed watching Chip flying precision F3A aerobatics and precision manouvres such as rolling circles, loops, slow rolls from one end of the box to the other etc. during the event, this discipline requires tons of experience and talent that CAN NOT be provided by any kind of simulator or "ready from the shelf" solutions found in forums nowdays.

Best regards,

Nikos

Wow, is it even necessary to take a jab at our younger RC'rs?

Please don't get me wrong...there are plenty of younger RCrs with great talent and skills but without the experience of the "older" guys, this is what I meant. According to the videos I've seen one of the greatest is Mark Leseberg, I wonder why he does not fly F3A though.

I did not have any intention to "take a jab" of the younger RCrs, I hope this is clear for now.

Rgrds,

Nikos

Hi all,

I had some requests on PM on how to download the video, here is the link:

You may experience some problems with our servers depending on the browser you use, please try 2-3 times if fails the first time.

Nikos
