If an ARF then the light weight plane may be harder to build, but most electric ARF's are simply plywood with lots of holes stamped out of them. A lightweight glow kit such as say a Sig Kadet Senior, or Hobby Lobby Telemaster are more difficult to build and lighter for their size than most electric ARF's.
