What is the average time to charge the Skylark battery (the one included in the RTF package) and the flight time?

I have seen different specs on the net for this of 5-10 minutes flight and some say 25-30 minutes flight. Does anyone have hands on experience with this?

Thanks!

My Skylark averages 5-5 1/2 min on the supplied battery pack (600mah, 7 cell 8.4 vdc NiMh). Time to charge which includes a discharge cycle first is running 20-30 min. using my Schultze charger.

When powered by a "2s" ( two 3.7 vdc cells in series) 1020mah Kokam LiPoly pack, I'm getting 16-18 min before ground effect takes over. Time to recharge these packs is averaging 30-45 min using either the Wes-Tek LiPoly or Kokam charger.

On my Feda with it's 8.4v 600mA/H NiMH pack I'm getting about 9 minutes, the last bit in ground effect although enough to surf the breeze outside. I have been charging at either 600ma or 1A, at 1A from a discharge to 7.0v the pack is taking a charge of 719mA. I found 2C, i.e.1.2A seems to peak too early and terminate due to temperature rise. (Homebrew charger).

I've just ordered some 850mA/H AAA to make a pack of those for comparison.
