Status: offline 		I read on the lostsquadron website that History Channel was gonna do a special on Glacier Girl March 3rd, 9:00 EST. Nothing on the TV schedule this week. Anybody hear different??

Status: offline 		According to The History Channel's website, it will air tonight at 9 PM ET.

I used to work with a guy that rescued those guys. Should be a good show.

For those of you who may not be familiar with the story, they were a group of brand spanking new P-38's that were being ferried to England during WWII. Weather turned them away from England, and they were forced to land on a glacier in Greenland. There was no way to get them out, so 5 (I think it was 5) new P-38's sat on the ice with no way out... Until now!

I'm going to leave this thread up because it IS interesting (I know how many P-38 junkies we have here... me included), but since it is not R/C related, I'm closing further posts. Sorry.
