I've been trying to setup my 6XAS with my CPP but have run into some issues. Has anyone else used this radio with their Pro successfully? If so can you share your settings?

Thanks
Jim

Hello Jim,

The 6XAS Super has CCPM mixing and it should be able to work with your BCPP. What kind of problems are you having?

Did you look at the Futaba 6X FAQ? http://www.futabarc.com/faq/faq-6xsuper-q557.html

Good luck
Georges

The problem I'm having seems to be in the ccpm mixing. I have the correct swash selected (3), I setup elevator, aileron, & pitch servos individually and they all operate correctly until i plug them all into the receiver together. Then the elevator servo works opposite of what it should when applying throttle (collective). When I apply throttle, the elevator servo moves opposite of the pitch & aileron servos. Then when I use the elevator stick, it acts like I'm giving it throttle as all 3 servos move up & down in unison like it should when adding collective. I'm at a loss.

Are you saying that the elevator servo works correctly when there is only one servo connected to channel 2 and no other servos are plugged in, but as soon as you connect all the other servos in their respective slot channel 2 is suddenly reversed, or you mean that channel 2 always work in reverse?

Have a look at this page. There's good info in there. http://www.jason.net/heli/ccpm.htm

This thread has some interesting info : http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=682685

Good luck
Georges

That's exactly it George. Channel 2 works correctly when plugged in by itself. But it works in reverse when coupled with aileron & pitch. For the life of me I can't figure it out.

I'll have a look at the links you provided, thanks a bunch.

Could it be the transmitter is set up for the wrong stick mode? (mode1)
