txaggie08 -> Hobbistar 60(and maybe to transfer to a 4*) (6/14/2007 8:22:43 AM)

Ok, I might be getting back to flying at a normalized field, so I might be able to get some larger aircraft up. I have a hobbistar 60 setup on a .75 ST motor at the moment. I've become a believer in electric since getting this little kadet, so I'd like to think about converting it to electric as well. I'd also like to go to a motor that might be usable in a 4* 60 conversion later down the line. I'm looking mainly at getting one of the turborix cheap-o Hong Kong motors from eBay. There BIG in-runners and out-runners only run about fifty, and there cheaper 60amp ESCs aren't but 50ish, so I'd like to get some specs to look for. I'm also still a bit fuzzy, what's the big diff. in in-runner vs. out-runner? I hope this didn't multi-post on me What about this motor?http://cgi.ebay.com/Turborix-833-rpm-v-1000w-Outrunner-Brushless-Motor_W0QQitemZ200117834943QQihZ010QQcategoryZ100059QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem
