Status: offline 		June 30th is the day. Lampassas Tx is the place. Free drag racing for trophies. 1st and 2nd in each class as well as the B-side winner takes home some iron. Perfectly smooth racing surface. The group from San Antonio is providing the timing and scoring and race management. If you are nearby come check it out and bring whatever you have and try drag racing out. Beware its addicting

Status: offline 		Team AHR43 will be there. Looks like a super strip. Maybe we can get some of the RCU gang to make the trip next event. Centrally located in the south central U.S. Easy to get to for North American RC drag racers. Wish the Aussies and the Euros could make it; we'll miss you all's. Shaping up to be a 'Big Go'.

Status: offline 		This is going to be a BIG race. Maybe the best attended drag race ever in History. The City of Lampasas has been inundated with calls from people wanting to check it out. Enough people they are expanding their seating to 3 150 seat bleachers just for the spectators. And having a shuttle service because they can't accomodate all the cars. Usually there aren't anywhere near that many spectators at a R/C drag race even at the World Finals. The weather here looks like its going to cooperate. After days of huge downpours that will be a welcome change. I live right next to Marble Falls and we got 19 inches in 6 hours the other night. Fortunatly the roads into Lampasas are good to go. I'll be posting pictures and lots of video after the race so if you haven't been to a big drag race check back and see what you are missing.

Status: offline 		Yea, this event is growing a life of it's own. To think we'll be running in front of a RC crowd in the bleachers just blows our mind! We're figuring this event will start early and end late.

Slash and Moo (SAMDRL) have worked hard to put this together with the cooperation of the City of Lampasas, TX. Now we gotta put on a good show! No problemo-RC drag racing's been doing that for a long time-just few have seen it yet.

Team AHR43 is gearing for our personal best speed at this event. We're gonna load that RAE 8x1 to the max and try to wring 60mph out of our rail. Smooth track and lots of shut down-why not give it a shot?

Porta-potties and race burgers in the pits. Life dosen't get much better than that! Wish you alls were there with us.
