Hi,

i recently started building my new 86" Yak. I have a problem right at the beginning.
After assembling elevator stab tubes and anti rotation pins, I realized that both sides were net perfectly aligned.
Which would cause a slight spin during flight.

Now I would like to adjust this by moving the hole where the anti rotation pin fits in slightly down on one side.
Does anybody know what the exact angle difference between the wings and the elevator should be? On my plane, this is different from one side to the other.

Thanks for your support.

Patrick

Hello Patrick,

Sorry for the problem you are having. I think the incidence is +0.5 degree.

Regards,
Reza

Hi Reza,

thanks for your reply.
I'll check which side comes closest to this, and modify the other so that both will be equal.

I am just getting my 86" about ready to fly and after reading your post about your stab alignment, I found that mine was off by about 1 1/2 degrees on the right stab. I would venture to say that many people have stabs out of alignment.
