Good Evening

Have a 16.5 OZ foamy with a Hi model ESC that has a plug for either 2S or 3S operation , very meaty motor I built , approx 250 Watt, with .7 wire
130 gram lipos, 1500 MaH3S
Can I run a 2S 123 in it, ???????????

at around 140 grams, and charge as a 2S Lipo , 7.4 V Max
Figured at 20 A WOT, the voltage would be 6V so that is 120 Watts , not bad,, it would hover at around 6 to 7 A
Have I forgotten anything that will make this fall down
Thanks very much
Would the voltage depress to 6 at 20A ,in 2S is that a good guess
I feel a 3S would be too heavy on a 16.5 Oz or so plane

oh
it needs 70 watts to hover
so thats 6 v by 12 a out of the 2s 123 , thats high with just 8A left for pullout , well indoor does it and with out the big amps that 123 can give,,,,,,, it may work

2S under 20Oz 3D not possible , but a 3s foamy under 20oz depron floater , hoverer is, probably just and with 3S 123 , big capacity and big punch have a 38 mm stator LRK motor with .7 mm wire on , in 16.5Oz foamy AUW with 3S Lipo the 3S 123 will be 80 grams heavier and wing will be made bigger to keep a nice loading20 A ESC is OK for 170 Watt , OK, now where to get some batts and how to charge , yo ,,,,,

little confusion?
2 cells A123 = 6.3 volts nominal (weight 5.5 ozs )
amperage? as much as you can wire it for I pull 40 amps from mine
you must figure out a motor which will stand this power setup and is light enough a verh high KVmotor is required for 6.3 volts.
next problem- a light controller which will tolerate 40 amps ,
