Status: offline 		Well,this will be my first real funfly,after flying my friends morris knife today I'm hooked big time.This edge sure sounds like a great plane,and the website and videos and got me excited.what do you guys think about a mds .48 on a pipe for this?I've got one laying right here .

Status: offline 		The MDS .48 should be plenty of power for the Edge. I have heard that the earlier MDS engines suffered from poor throttle transition and midrange running. I have never had an MDS, so I can't comment directly. I have also heard that MDS has solved this problem in their current models. At almost 18 oz with muffler (according to Horizon Hobby web site) the MDS will be on the heavy side of the acceptable range of engine weights, but should be OK. Just be sure to keep check on balance while building. You may want to consider replacing the 5-oz stock MDS muffler with a Macs one piece muffler at only 1.5-oz.
