Well I got out and flew a couple of tanks yesterday. It flew alot lighter than my first one, it was definately a kite. I was really able to slow it dow on landing and I didnt even get the slightest hint of a wing drop. I even walled it out a few times and the wings stay level. I forgot how sensitive the elevator is on this thing, even on the perscribed low rates it could easily stall the tail. I am on a 1:1 and using 25 percent travel for normal flying. I dont know what the AUW but I will try and weigh it soon.

    Bernde,

Look in members videos I have my cap there on its 160th flight. It will be several pages in.

I really enjoyed flying my Cap before the mid-air.

    Good luck.

    Cheers

    Lang

Get the new one with goldsmith diamond scheme. Plug in wings and stabs and a hatch.

Has anyone built one of the new H9 CAP232G ? The plug in wings should save some weight and make transportation easier. I am thinking of getting one and wondered if anyone could report their experience. I read a review on another site and it looked ok but in the review the plane was built the rudder servo in the back of the plane in a push pull arrangement instead of forward in the fuse with a pull-pull. The review reported that a pound of weight was required in the nose to get it to balance! Has anyone built and flown this plane with a light 50cc engine and with a pull-pull on the rudder to help with cg issue?

Mikejr718, there is a nice review of the 232G on Rcgroups at: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=615450 I personally like it when it was nose heavy vs. where they say the CG should be.....check out the video....
