i bought a 1/8th scale nitro car and was wondering if that was a popular size used for drift competitions or is it all about the 1/10th scales. also can you drift a four wheel drive?

4- Wheel Drive is probally the only way to drift,

As for comps 1/10 is the dominant size, i havent seen any 1/8 scales driftin,

Some minis but no 1/8's, Cause they Nitro and Big!

Wow. You just got effed in the a on that buddy. It's nitro AND it's 1/8. Well, the bad news is no comp for you. Those are only 1/10 and elec. I'm sure one day nitro will have a competition series. It'll probably be boring tho seeing as how they maneuver like a bowl of hot bricks (in comparison). The good news is that as long as you can figure it out, you should be able to drift just fine....well, long sweeping high speed drifts anyway. And that's still cool, right? 4wd is currently the only way to achieve a drift with RC cars. I mean, you can do it with RWD but it sux worse than...well...nitro drifts i guess. And, it's more of a fishtail than a drift. But, you'll be alright. Have fun with that.
