Absolut Yak,

What exactly is HUCKING?
I have seen this term used before, but don't know what it means.

Doug,, if I may?

Huck; To fly a plane or helicopter in a manner that is low to the deck in 3D attitude. Also referred to as Hucking

Hucker; One who Hucks.

Huckaholic; A person who has difficulty remaining more than 3 times the wingspan of the plane, above the ground for extended periods of time. Exceptions are made for Blenders, Waterfalls, KE Spins, Parachutes, Roller-Coasters and similar moves. These should all end at about 10 feet above ground. Example, a 102" yak should not be flown in a lame manner at an altitude exceeding 306" for extended period of time.

Shamelessly borrowed from FG's

3D is the essence of the adrenaline rush. In theory, to 3D, Freestyle, and "down in the dirt with grass stains" Huckin' is what defines me, in other words,........." I 3D, therfore, I am!"

Actually coming in contact with the ground, deliberately, & flying off without a scratch, the apex of Huck'in. The ground is the limit!
Will absolutely return a flight report for my Extreme TOC Yak, good , bad or indifferent.

My motor puked on me today. Thankfully not until I was on the ground and tried to restart. Clanking and low compression and would only briefly fire. Off to DA, after 300 + hard 3D flights. Plane has been flying GREAT. The time on the flight sim has been paying off.

My Extreme TOC Yak is (30%) 16.6 lbs. with a spinner. Had to put it on, still a bit tail heavy (CG 7.5" 6.5 is the recommended. I used the 3" standoffs & have the ignition battery on the firewall. The receiver batt is at the cowl ring, at the top of the cannister tunnel. I tried to keep rcv batt 12" away from ign , but ended up around 6" at best. Is this less critical with the 2.4FASST systems? I will definately do a running range test, which I normally do anyway.
