Ya, that thing is pretty crazy. Did it come with the motor and ESC?

thats a sweet titan man. And no my heli did not come with a motor or ESC, I went with a Z-Power Z50A-800 780Kv and a Pheonix 85HV speed controller, with an 8 cell lipo, this motor turnes 4000 kilowatts approx 5 horse power (I think) It has alot of power to burn anyway.

Anyway I love your color sceam I think its cool when people keep it the same throughout the bird. as apposed to blue fins purple bolts and a red canopy... you get the idea.

No, DO NOT run the helicopter without the main blades. For Engine tuning visit raptor technique.

Question. With my servos, the Titan came with metal plates that go over the grommets. Should I use these alone, with the brass eyelets that come with the servos or just the brass eyelets? My R30 did not come with these plates so I just had the brass eyelets.

Thanks

I have set up all my pitch curves and getting ready for the first flights tomorrow AM.

Are you guys using the DS on your 401's or not? I heard that the 401 in DS mode has been burning up servos. Yes, I am using digis.

ds mode doesn't burn up servos, running too much gain does.

Yes do DS mode.

Don't crank it all the way up till it wags then back off, start with 50 percent and go from there, if it holds leave it alone.

OK, right now I have this set for my 401

Normal mode A80%
Idle 1 A70%
Idle 2 N70%

Do you agree or disagree with these settings?

I also adjusted the limit to about 85-90% and delay is factory setting at 75%

I didnt see anywhere where you stated what servo you are using with the 401 gyro. Are you using the 9254? If so, you need to set the delay to 0, and the DS switch to on. If you are not using a digital servo on the tail, turn the DS to off and add a little delay. The 401 gyro was designed around the 9254 servo, so it is the perfect match. Therefor, does not need any delay. Delay is mostly used for non digital servo's.

Here is a link to better help you understand.
