Get thin sheet brass, and learn to solder. Its how we made ALL of our tanks years ago. You could look for bottles that are close to the right shape, make a "D-tube" the shape the tank needs to fit in, and heat a bottle, slide it in and then expand the bottle with air pressure to fill the space.
