do you guys think 6 cell ener-g 4600 nimhs are too much for the stock motor and esc? i plan to get a wheely king soon and want to keep it stock except for any mods that are a must. i wont be competing just want a basher for my backyard that can pop wheelies at will

the motor will be fine on that battery. the esc will run, but get hot. may shorten its life. the stock esc is only good for a completly stock wheely king. if you try to crawl or make it run faster(ie, lower turn motor or much better battery) it will get hot. plan on upgrading the esc in the near future.

You will want to wire them in parallel. Basically you will have the positives of both packs connected to the positive on the ESC, and the negative of both packs connected to the negative of the ESC.... he best way to do it is to make a little adapter with two battery plugs on one end that both connect to the single esc plug on the other end. (positives together and negatives together.)

no problem. I have seen this done before. It actually is nice because it lowers your center of gravity. Good luck and lets see some build pic's along the way.

I've made it. It works quite well with shorth shocks and a lot of weight in the wheels. Dont use the stock shocks, the ride height is way too high and it results in some weird axle wrap issues.

if you arnet using a 2.4ghz radio, you NEED caps to suppress electronic noise or you will most likley get glitching... if you are running 2.4, you dont NEED them, but i would still put them on...
