Got my Hornet airborne last nite for the first time. I'm not a heli flyer but spent some time on G2 just to get the sticks warmed up. Was able to get the thing trimmed up quickly (basically hands off) and hovering 10 feet off the floor (flying in the local gym). Didnt try any forward flight yet. The Hornet is a very nice flying helicopter that is going to be a lot of fun

Hi
I am in the same position as you! but because i have no experiance i am javeing problems setting up the Hornet. It just keeps spining, iv tryed the gyro and made sure all the controls work right. The tail just dose not have enough power!

I had the same problem at first. The tail rotor shaft was spinning in the tail rotor mechanism. Put a little epoxy on the end of the shaft and made sure the tail rotor blades would still change pitch without friction. Problem solved.

Hi all
Thanks for the tips! I think it was because i did not have anouth pitch! I have a new problem know tho. The gear (E018 has worn out so iv orders my self a few new once. Does anyone know where you can get them cheep (Not Off MS) or an upgarde from the plastic. At £2.50GPB a time its not going to be cheep
