Can anyone provide a picture or schematic on how to connect a second receiver battery that is used solely to power a set of mechanical retracts?

depending on how you have it setup, basically you would make a custom servo connector with two leads. Hook the signal and the ground into the receiver and leave the center wire out which is the positive.

After that you would have to splice in an additional ground to the servo hook that up to the battery negative, and then hook up the positive center servo wire to the battery positive, and that should get 'er done.
