Nephew brought his Jr9303 AS over for help as his new receiver is not working. Transmitter is PLL-sythensized for PPM and PCM. Origineal receiver , a R2100 went bang in a race plane. He purchased a R790 that shows Ch 15-60 scan select Pll-Synthesided, no SCAN button. The new receiver does not work with this transmitter. Are the systems compatable> If so, how do you tune to the receiver? Any light you can shed would be appreciated.

Status: offline 		Yes the 790 is compatable with all JR SPCM systems. First be sure the TX has the modulation set to PCM (or SPCM). Not ppm.

The 790 rx does have a scan button. Its on the end of the rx opposite the end with the servo plugs. It scans and sets just like the R2100 rx did.

Status: offline 		Mike: Thanks for taking the time to get me in the right direction. Receiver did not come with instrctions, found them on the Horizon site, so off and running.

Status: offline 		right im with a similer problem i found my button but mine came with instructions to but my transmitter is a rd6000 Sanwa and i changed the modlutaion to pcm but it wont pick it up how long does it normaly take to scan?? cant nayone help with my problem i really dont want to buy a new transmitter
