Hello everyone. I am new to this site and will be new to helicopter flying. As with most people when I get something new I want to get the best. Since I am new to this sport, I don't think I want to go with the best and most expensive just yet. I would like to get a gas powered (Nitro) Apache helicopter or something similiar. Can you recommend a site where I can view one so I can start doing research before I purchase it? Thanks for all of your help. Feel free to email the info to me at: ka_fi007@yahoo.com

Don't know if they have the apache, but http://www.variousa.com has lots of scale helis.

Good luck. I would suggest starting out with a simulator then a pod and boom (none scale) heli. first, then move up to the scale heli's.

You'll be making a pretty expensive mistake starting right out with a scale helicopter (although that somewhat depends).

Start out at Helicopter world:
http://65.215.192.230/Merchant2/merchant.mv

You CAN get some fairly inexpensive .30 scales there.

As far as I know, there's only 1 place in the UK that makes Apaches (.60 sized). For attack choppers, the Airwolf seems to be the most common. Then there's Cobras and Tigers.

I'd recommend buying a Hawk for starters. Learn on it. Then you could get yourself one of the Century or Hirobo .30 sized scales that come as a complete kit. Then move up to whatever...
