I just finished a Herns Demon (from Australia) for OTS. Did not realize I had built it to go clockwise until I started plumbing the tank. I learned to fly that way and fly counterclockwise with the handle upside down. I'll take it slow and easy with this one and fly it the "right" way.

That looks very nice Jim but I'm trying to imagine all the mistakes I'd be making flying it clockwise . Hearn's Hobbies used to be one of my favourite hang-outs in Melbourne and at one time (long ago) I had one of their Tempest .60 racing engines, much like a McCoy 60, but like everything back then I've got no idea what happened to it.

Looks great Jim! What covering and engine did you use?

The stab is covered with yellow tissue; the top and bottom of the fuselage with yellow silk; the sides of the fuselage and the wings with yellow Sig plyspan. It is doped with Sig Litecoat with a little yellow dye added. The numbers and figures are black spectra brand art tissue. The engine is a Fox stunt 35 from the old days. Prop is an 11 x 5 Taipan for photo purposes. Will try it and see how it works.
