45ish, Wow, that would be right about where I want it. I have no desire to have a LST2 doing over 50mph off road. I do need a little more top speed than I currently have for the local track and these look great. Thanks a lot lexion. Then the next thing for me is a LRP Z28 Spec 3.

Great choice on the engine. That with a nice pipe (HT for example) a good set of alum clutch shoes (im still using dynamite Max life) High speed clutch bell and possibly a change in gearing and you should be at a Nice speed level
Try some 30% o'donnels if you can get all the above and you'll be surprized at the change in your truck

Are those Axials??? They look like the set I just ordered (black chrome spoked). What kind of tires?? I was thinking of Big Joes for mine.

yeah they are axial but just the chrome not the black chrome (that was a hard choice but i'm old school) and yes they are big joes ...caint seem to break traction except in the driveway, gravel of course, great tires

Nice ride! Are you gonna upgrade the engine with the added weight??? Looks like you took a bullet proof LST2 and made it Nuke proof!!! Mine is still pretty much stock minus the High speed t-nitride gear conversion, Axial bead locks (Black chrome 5 spoke) and the Big Joes that I just ordered. Still waiting for my brother to finish the painting on the 2 new bodies and now looking into a LRP Z.28 Spec 3 or an Axial .32. Maybe after that I will start with some aluminum hop ups and an extended chassis plate.

No I don't plan to add a bigger engine.
The 427 does JUST FINE

I'm not into racing at all, so to be honest I don't even notice the weight difference.

I just want to take my truck out for an hour or two, beat the thing to death, and still come home with a working truck.

I've replaced front end parts that were not even broken just to get the metal on there.
I will slowly convert the entire truck to metal, so then it will be nuke proof

I really like that roll cage too and don't see anyone else who has it or likes it?
As you can see from the pics my friend had his in the background, we both love that roll cage!!
