I am going to get a Corona. Is there any reason I would need a 6 channel radio? What specifically would it do for me on this model?

no, all you need is 4 channels for the Corona...

If you did get a 6, you could use it on stuff like gyro gain from your tx if you get a gyro which allowed so, or retractable landing gear if you're getting creative, maybe put a switch for lighting and stuff like that... Other than that, all you need is 4 to fly it.
