October is Fire Prevention Month. I had the opportunity to attend and work at the Open House at the Glenndale VFD. Of course I watched the MedStar Heli Land and Take off. In between I spoke with the medics and pilot. These are some class people. Really really nice.

It was really funny. I was talking to the pilot and we started talking R/C. He was very familiar with our field from the air. He actually said "I remember a plane hanging from some wires near there". So he does notice our r/c planes flying around there. So watch out for our full scale neighbors up there
