Roger,

Will you bring that and the others to the Airplanes of the World? Great looking airplane!

It is a .40 size plane. The plane is an old (1980's) GoldBerg kit.
Congratulations on the article in Model Aviation.

Yes, I should be bringing the Monocoupe to the fly-in as well. It had it's maiden flight Thursday, and came back in one piece (although the left rudder cable came loose 'cause I forgot to safety wire it). Since the tail is scale size (small), it flys a little quirky under power, and it also floats a lot at touchdown being so light (10 lbs, 25 oz/ft^2). Got to remember to manage the energy on final. The OS91 4-cycle sounds really throaty, very realistic!

I'm going to find a way to strap the Monocoupe fuselage to my car roof because I have no room left in the car. That nice big green truck looks just perfect to transport just about anything!

I sent in the picture of the DH-84 to Model Aviation about 9 months ago for Focal Point, I thought they had passed it over. I guess there is a long line!

Here's a picture of Jake with his new plane. I was flying form the box next to him and heard him say, "This is the first day I've flown the model and I'm not doing any aerobatics with it." And a few seconds later he said "I just did an axial roll!" Great to see you back again, Jake.

Nice video! Thanks Mark. I was beside myself showing off for the camera like that
That valley run was fun. Even though the Alpha disappeared behind the trees, I think I need to push it down another 10 feet after clearing the runway and entering the valley

Steede did the V. run and brushed a tree. He landed and had leaves stuck on his plane. I think I am done doing that. Too risky!

He he he, I'm not gonna deny it...I did pull an axial roll for a second there, and it was one of the smoothest-feeling rolls I've ever flown (it was a bit wobbly up-and-down, but as far as rotation went, it was real smooth)! That plane flies like it's on a rail; I can't wait to see what it can really do once I get a bit more "in tune" with it!

Technically, that was the second time I'd flown the Edge; the first time I took it up, I had 100% throws dialed in as the low rate, and quickly found myself bringing it back in so I could adjust the throws to a more flyable level. Note to self: check your throws before maidening a plane!

Jake
