Status: offline 		Heres the deal. My son and a coupl e cousins are going to spend a few weeks in July in Switzerland and surrounding coutnries with their Aunt (who's originally from here). Frome what I hear, travelers checks canstill be used but seem to be "old school". A firend here mentioned ther other day about getting a gift card here and then turning it over for cash or whatever is used their?

I mean I use a debit/credit card for 99% of everyday life. The only time I have cash on me is if i owe someone money

Status: offline 		Cyclic... I belive there are a lot of Europeans living over there.... My wife spent about 12 days in Italy last year, and found out the best thing to do is use your ATM card to get cash as you need it. If you can, use a credit card for purchases because you will get the best exchange rate at that particular time. Have a good trip...
