What would be the best model for this class? GP Toni, Cosmic Wind, World Midget Mustang, Kyosho Kelly, Cermark Alleycat?

It may be a class, but I'm not aware of anyone actually holding races. Maybe in the Denver area, but I'm not sure about that.

S-10,

The first three designs that you listed qualify under the rules. The others do not. For a race-legal airplane that has the best chance of winning, I'd pick the GP Minnow only because it's a midwing design, and midwings tend to induce less drag in the turns.

Sure would be nice to see a few more manufacturers get into this. The specs are right there in the rule book, no need to reinvent the wheel.

Dave,

Yep, Denver, Sept. 8-9. I'm the CD. Not sure if I'll put F1 Sport on the schedule both days, but Sunday for sure. Depends on the turnout. So far, the only ones confirmed are me and Brian Neff with Tonis. I'm letting him use an Evo 100 with un-tuned (empty can) muffler, unless other folks show up and object to that variation. Mine has a Jett .90 with tuned muffler. Should be an interesting matchup.

Spoke with the CD for the wichita races and they allow the Alleycat not sure about the Kelly, so I'm going with a Alleycat and OS .91 FX Duane, I'm with you, I think the midwing may have a slight advantage

Well I had a change of plans,I found a deal on a Cosmic Wind I could not pass on. I also ended up with a Super Tigre G90 so I'll see how I wind up with this combo.
