Seen they are on special for around $360 (au) they look like a great backup buggy or buggy for the kids to race. RTR with a .26 engine. Chassis is made of cheap 5085 alloy but the rest of the car look on par with the Hyper 7, and around $170.
Any thoughts? A Pro R version won our clubs championship last year so I know they are not that bad but have Hot Bodies cut a lot of corners in keeping its price down?

I assume you mean it's $170 cheaper than the Hyper 7?
The Pro version seems pretty strong but then again its almost twice the price and thats just for the roller.. Couple at my club always seem to do well against the Losi 8's and Hyper 8's.
Probably get some better chassis stiffners and front anti sway bars and the Sport will be able to run with the other mid class buggies no sweat.

It is a normal RTR and is not real good. I can only go by a friend of mine has one and neither him nor I are impressed with it. The engine is a normal sports engine and is not real strong. I personally think the money would be better spent on something else. The only good thing I can say is they are cheap but you get what you pay for most times.
