Thanks, I remember getting this plane on a barter new. I took it out of the box and I almost threw up on the original covering job. I did the scheme to mimic my Flat foamie. It was really easy to do but the Day glo monokote was pretty expensive. Mike

you may already know this Mike, but keep it outta the sun when not flying, that neon fades really bad....G

Thanks I'll keep that in mind. A wise friend of mine says that you should always take the pictures of your plane when you 1st finish them and there brand new because they are never going to look that good for very long. My 44 years of experience has proven that correct. I'll keep it in the shade. Mike

I know that this post is old, but I just wanted add my praises to Termigator. Thanks for posting this info on doing a flag. It inspired me to do my latest Somethin' Extra as a small tribute to 9/11. Term, you are definately the master. Thanks for helping

These are very cool, I never liked working with monokote so to see this done that way is awesome. Also, to see that many American flags on airplanes I just think is awesome (I'm a Canadian totally in love with the USA)

Here are some American flags I've done on projects, some are combination USA/Canadian themes

Here is a guitar that I built in tribute to the USA and 911, the headstock has the flag on it, I would put the picture of just the headstock on here, but it's really big and I'm on the wrong computer to resize it right now.

Here is the bottom of my Whiplash, it was the factory Can/Am scheme on the top, but I needed to do something to the bottom

Here is the nose of a dragster body that I painted, Canadian car that races a lot in the USA so they wanted support for both countries on the car. This picture is a little bad, there is much more shading and 3D look to it

And just something for that 3D flag look, thought you might dig this heli canopy
