i know this thread has been going for sometime.
the trim being used, is it from the sticky trim sheets, or are you guy using the monokote from the rolls?

i assume the rolls, and then treating the edges as described, but if someone can clarify, thx in advance.

-mike

This is all made from regular Monokote from the rolls.

Hello every one. I found this thread several week's back. First page was all I got thru. That was enough to get me started on the flag on mine. Today I don't know why but came back and actually looked thru the page's. There is a lot of amazing work going into these aircraft.
Would like to thank TERMAGATOR for starting it off and for the great how to. Would never been able to of done this without his teaching and inspiration.
Here's mine, a Swanyhouse Primo with 20cc gas.
Ultimate48, that is some serious workmanshipthere. Real nice.

Wish I knew who/where the "Termigator" was/went... I admired that guys work for a loong time.. I've seen a few other planes of his way back.. I've got a "Flag" going on right now.. and it was this thread I read about many years ago that inspired me... and I never forgot it.. I think I even posted in it about 10yrs ago.. haha.. still great stuff.. I'll try to post a few pics of my Dazzler I'm working on when I get some "ole Glory" on it.

Hey guys, I think this post deserves another bump

I found it while looking at some Chipmunk builds here. I had seen a Super Hots with this color/pattern scheme and wondered "How It's Made".

Up until now I had been tossing a few possible scheme's for my Chippy once it is finished. Now I think I have my answer.

I did a flag scheme on a 4*60 I had back in '98, but this looks SOOOOOO much better.

I also started off with the solid white base cover, and using poster board temps, cut all the stars and stripes out by hand. At that time I did not know at the window cleaner trick so each piece was ironed on. Never had a problem with bubbling or peeling.
