Rudeboy...I guarentee it will change your life.....Any soapy substance should work......I used to use soapy water, a mixture of tap water and dish washing detergent...I would have a large container of water, and poor liquid dish washing detergent in and stir it real slow, so as not to make any bubbles. I switched over to windex because of one, its in a nice spraybottle and 2 , I didnt have to have the large container anymore. The 2nd part of your question, if were talking you have a base coat of covering down over the ribs, its no problem to add trim peices, the soapy water will allow you to place them on the base covering, move them around to where you want it, and then just squeegy out the soapy water, Remember this windex method does not work on regular ultracote,,,I'm told it will work with Ultracote Plus,,but I have never tried it...Windex does work with most other covering ie 21st century, Econocote, towercote.....Good luck with your project....Gator
